What We Do
RMHC Latvia’s mission is to create, find and support programs that directly benefit the health and well-being of children in Latvia. In collaboration with the doctors of the Children’s Clinical University Hospital, we travel all over Latvia to visit families with children and provide access to medical services to children closer to their homes.
The Care Mobile
We believe that when you change a child s life, you change a family s, which can change a community, and ultimately the world.
The Care Mobile program has the advantage of the ability to transform and expand the existing range of services, by offering specialist care, which takes into account the most urgent needs.
History
In 2005, our Founder, Jerry Wirth, discussed charity with then U.S. Ambassador Catherine Todd Bailey. After Ambassador Bailey and Mr. Wirth visited with the Children’s Clinical University Hospital leadership and discussed needs of children in Latvia, the idea of a children’s charity was born.
