Ronald McDonald House Charities Latvia (RMHC Latvia) is a charitable organization. Our mission is to create, find and support programs that directly benefit the health and well-being of children in Latvia. In collaboration with the doctors at the Children’s Clinical University Hospital, we travel throughout Latvia and provide free medical consultations to children closer to their homes.
Our organization is an officially registered medical institution and has been granted the status of a public benefit organization. The activities of the organization are supported by private and corporate donations. Your donations enable us provide 5 200 medical consultations to 4 150 children through annual visits to more than 40 locations in all regions of Latvia. Since 2010, our team of doctors has provided 63 861 free medical consultations to children in regions of Latvia closer to their homes.
RMHC Latvia’s children’s “Care Mobile” program provides consultations by a pediatric otolaryngologist, pediatric neurologist, ophthalmologist, optometrist, physical and rehabilitation medicine doctor, speech therapy specialist, allergist, pediatric pulmonologist, pediatric endocrinologist, pediatric gastroenterologist, dermatologist and pediatric surgeon/orthopedist.
