The Most Joyful Charity Event of the Season!

Since 2008, every December Riga transforms into a sea of red and white, as hundreds of Santas gather for the annual Santa Fun Run Riga – a fun, heartwarming charity run organized by the Riga International Rotary Club (RIRC).

This cheerful event, traditionally held on the second Sunday of Advent, combines the magic of Christmas, community spirit, and the joy of giving — all in one unforgettable experience.

 

Run for Charity

By taking part in Santa Fun Run Riga, you’re not only spreading holiday joy but also helping children across Latvia stay healthy.

All proceeds from the event support RMHC Latvija (Ronald McDonald House Charities Latvija) and its children’s Care Mobile, which provides essential medical services to children in remote areas of Latvia who have limited access to healthcare.

Event Information

Date: December 7, 2025
Location: Dome Square, Old Town Riga
Distance: 2.7 km of fun and festive running through Riga’s most picturesque streets

 

Event Schedule

12:30 — Santa costume distribution and ticket sales
14:30 — Warm-up for runners
15:00 — Official Santa Fun Run start
15:30 — Afterparty with DJ and Christmas music
17:00 — Event conclusion

 

How to Participate

To join the event, simply purchase a ticket:

  • Register online: fienta.com/lv/santa-fun-run
  • Or register on-site on the event day (while costumes are available).
  • Every registered participant receives a complete Santa Claus costume upon registration!

 

Ticket Prices:

  • Adult ticket (14+) – €15
  • Child ticket (ages 5–13) – €8
  • Family ticket – €35

 

Join as a Team!

We invite companies, organizations, and groups of friends to register their teams!
• For teams of 10 or more participants, the ticket price is €10 per adult.
• To register your team, receive an invoice, and purchase Santa costumes, please email rigainternational.rc@gmail.com or call +371 20023984.
• Team Santa costumes can be collected before the event by calling +371 29227306.
