13 Jul Achievements in the first half of 2023
The first half of 2023 has been a dynamic and exciting period.
During this time, the RMHC Latvija children’s “Care Mobile” programme team has made 55 trips and provided 2 359 medical consultations to 2 070 children in 39 different locations across Latvia. With the support of JSC Latvijas Finieris, 45 medical consultations have been provided to 37 Ukrainian children currently residing in Latvia.
This year, our team of doctors has made several 2- and 3-day trips to the most remote regions of Latvia. We are thankful to the Latvian municipalities – Priekule, Nica, Rezekne, Dagda and Ludza – for their support.
In cooperation with the Migrant Offshore Aid Station Foundation (MOAS), RMHC Latvija has continued to provide critically needed medical assistance to the Ukrainian people in the first half of 2023. During this period, medical treatment and care has been provided to 10 000 patients in various locations in Ukraine.
Our children’s “Care Mobile” operations are possible thanks to the generosity of our donors. We would not be able to provide services that directly affect the health and well-being of children in Latvia without the support of business and fellow citizens.
To raise the necessary funding and support, RMHC Latvija has undertaken various activities in collaboration with partners:
– continuous donation possibilities in Mcdonald’s restaurants, Duty Free shops at Riga Airport, Olympic Casion locations, Damme, Riga, Plaza and Minsk shopping centres;
– donation campaigns during the events of AmCham Latvia and the Norwegian chamber of commerce in Latvia;
– a donation campaign has been launched in cooperation with RIMI Latvija;
– a children’s spectacles donation campaign in Optio stores;
– charity golf tournament in cooperation with BluOr Bank, Ozo Golf Club and Latvian hockey players.
In the second half of 2023, more donation and communication campaigns with partners are planned.
Thank you to all our supporters and partners – Linstow Latvija, Mcdonald’s, BluOr Bank, Olympic Casion, Dayton, Neste Latvija, Atu Duty free, Latvijas Finieris, Ernst & Young Latvija, SunCrisp, GP Nord, Venden, Optio and everyone for your significant support so that together we can contribute to the health and well-being of Latvian children.
